You're in for a real treat if you join us for the final installment in this year's Winter Lecture Series. Ben Shrader will return with a fascinating program on 'animal Candid Camera.' Mr. Shrader, a Virginia Master Naturalist, is a life-long outdoor enthusiast who volunteered for the Smithsonian Institution doing a trail camera survey along the Appalachian Trail and a project called "eMammal." He presented a program on coyotes for our Winter Lecture Series enthusiasts in 2015. His program this time will highlight photos from motion-sensor cameras set up at the Claytor Nature Study Center located in Bedford, Virginia.
The Winter Lecture Series is presented by the Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Proceeds go to help fund educational programs and projects in the park.
