Adventures are meant to be shared. National Trails Day is a great opportunity to meet new people in your area and share a fun experience on a local trail. In this very special event, we will be exploring a trail after the sun goes down and visualize it the way nocturnal animals do. "Hoo-hoo" who wants to join a park ranger in exploring the dark of night? We will be walking through the forest calling in owls that are hiding in the tree tops. Come prepared with your flashlight and be ready to learn about these perching predators.
Wear closed toed shoes, clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water.
Space is limited: please pre-register at the Visitor Center. Free.
