You are invited to an open house Holiday Craft Night at the library! This annual free holiday program is fun for the whole family with craft tables throughout the library and live guitar music from Zachary Williams. Glenn Ayers will read the traditional poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas” near the tree at the beginning of the evening, and at around 7:00 PM Santa will listen to wishes from all the children. Our furry pals from “Read to a Dog” will stop by to say hello. Refreshments from the Friends of the Library will be available in the large meeting room. Make festive crafts with park rangers and the staff of Booker T. Washington National Memorial and with volunteers from the Virginia Master Naturalists, and make a pine cone bird feeder with volunteers from the Bedford Area Master Gardeners. Library Assistant Veronica Terry and community volunteers will show you and your children how to make a pop-up origami holiday card and a holiday crown to wear! Bring your camera and make and take home holiday crafts to start the season? The library is located across the street from Downtown Moneta. Call 540-425-7004 for information or directions.
